Yep, if anyone's interested, I've got a 120i se, and the SatNav was an optional extra, which included iDrive and the pop up display. The display folds up automatically from the top of the top of the dash between the driver and front passenger sides when the car starts up. Options are: Communications (North), Navigation (East), Entertainment (South) and Climate (West). Pushing the iDrive controller to the floor brings up the control panel.
Carphone / Bluetooth phone (if installed. I don't have this)
Use SatNav to find and direct to nearest BMW Dealer
Show current position from SatNav
Choose destination from address book
Show information on destination (attractions, hotels, etc)
Current journey computer
Speed limiter (alerts when you go over your set speed)
CD Audio (Supports CD-Text!)
DVD Audio (not sure if it supports DVD Movies. Not tried yet)
Aux In (for your iPod)
10 levels of control for head/body/footwell temperatures
3 preset modes.
Car Information (Date of Birth, mileage, engine info, oil levels, etc)
Audio settings (Tone, Bass, Treble, Balance and Fade)

I wouldn't buy a car that's only capable of running to 100km/h in 8 seconds . . . especially the ultimate driving machine?!?!?!
How do you like the I drive on your car...is it the same as on the 5's?
remember best selling 325i w/Step reaches 60mph in 7.9 sec
This model will sell better than BMW's previous 4-cylinder hatch efforts -- does anyone remember the e36 318ti in the mid-90's? That could have been a rocket if BMW had bothered to offer something with more heart than the M44 engine.
in my humble opinion
I think it looks great, and I would buy onee if they would sell the wagon in the US. I think they are only bringing the segan & the coupe/convert to the US. Maybe I'll consider the convert.
Maybe they'll build an x1.
I am not sure a premium small car should just look OK - it is pretty SWISHY as someone said.
just so I dont get flamed.
