Hello all,
I am in the process of buying a '97 740i from someone in the Nob Hill area of San Francisco. I want to have it inspected by a good independent mechanic in the area before I buy it, and am looking for any recommendations you might have.

Not sure how close they are to Nob Hill, but they are well known in and out of SF.

We have a very active bunch that keeps me quite busy, while at work :)

I was trying to post a link, but I will walk you thru a full pictorial of my 6er. Go to bigcoupe.com, that link is provided. From there, go to the "cars" section, followed by the "featured car". At that bottom of that page you will see another link to "past featured cars". Click on that and you will see my 6er. Just click on that pic and it takes you to about a dozen shots.

I've always enjoyed the look of the 6's and luckily get to see quite a few around here, (Lafayette, just drove up to Mt. Hamilton). Love to see an engine looking like yours.
