LSCBMWCCA Meeting Tuesday at Classic BMW

I just wanted to pass this information on to the masses.

To All Lone Star Chapter Members:

Just a quick reminder that our next chapter meeting will be
sponsored by one of our premier advertisers, Classic BMW (http://www.classicbmw.com/ this coming Tuesday night starting
at 6:00pm. Many thanx to Classic's Jonathan Berry (CC'd) for helping
    us put this event together.

Everyone should park at their service center at the corner of
    Jackson and Bishop http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?
    searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&address=300+north+central+expressway&city=richard
son&state=TX&zipcode=> ) Jackson is the first street past the showroom on the frontage road - make a right and go one block to Bishop. From 75, exit at the Belt Line/Main St exit.

Classic plans to shuttle everyone in golf carts from the Service
Center to their Performance Center (formerly their M Center) where they prep their race cars and do other mods. A BBQ dinner will be catered for this event in their Performance Center, courtesy of Classic BMW. Dinner will be served starting around 6:00 and will last until 7:00, giving everyone from around the metroplex time to show up and eat at their leisure.

The meeting discussions will start around 7:00 or so, with the
    following rough agenda:

    * Meet the Classic team and learn about their operation on their huge
    campus
    * Learn more about the upcoming April DE at Motorsports Ranch
(April 30 - May 1) and what Classic will be bringing to the event
    * Learn about Classic's future new location at the corner of the Tollway and Spring Creek
    * Open Q&A about models, mods, Dinan, etc.

So please spread the word to all members about next Tuesday night -
you won't want to miss this meeting!

"Dinner will be served starting around 6:00 and will last until 7:00, giving everyone from around the metroplex time to show up and eat at their leisure."

LOL. Just as I've long suspected, there seems to be a fairly significant misunderstanding going on with our Chapter concerning just how far away from Dallas (especially East Dallas) some of us live! ;-)

Although I'm serious here, I'm only joking with you so don't take it wrong. But I really do wish there was a better appreciation of how much traffic there is around here these days and how long it takes to get from Point A to Point B, particularly when you're having to fight rush hour traffic to make a 60+ mile drive.

Sounds like an interesting meeting, y'all have fun. :)

It is the Bluebonnet Trail drive.

April 23 - S2000 Ennis Blue Bonnet Trail Drive & Lunch - Cody Reeves has agreed to head up the Saturday, 23 April Bluebonnet Drive to Ennis, TX. His plan follows.
    Details:
Point of Departure: The parking lot of the Boston Market restaurant on the southeast corner of I20 at Carrier Parkway
Time: Meet at 9:00 am and depart by 9:30 am at 9:00 am. We'll try to wind our way to Ennis via the back roads to meet the S2000 group at Bubba's BBQ at 11:30am. If anybody is running late and would like us to wait on them they can call Cody on his cell at: 817-319-2004. Leaving at 9:30am may get us there a little early, but I'd rather be a little early than a little late. Don't miss this drive. The Bluebonnet fields in Ennis are awesome.
