concern regarding my 1988 528e
I recently purchased a 1988 528e. This is my 1st BMW. I love it. I do have a problem though: Sometimes when I punch 1st and/or 2nd gear, 7 out of 10 times the engine seems to "die" or "stall" for a brief moment and then kicks back in. My friend (a fellow BMW guy) referred to it as a "dead-spot." It happens at the top of both of these gears. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Doug Wheeler
PS This is my first time to Roadfly!

Why do so many people fail to comprehend...
... what the "sticky"
