    Got a ticket in Rhome Tx. 84 mph in a 70 mph

    on hwy 287 to Bowie. Best way to handle?? Any suggestions??

    Call the court and inquire about deferred adjudication (probation). If they don't offer that then defensive driving should be an option. If you don't want to take DD then call a local ticket atty (James Mallory or Randall Scott) and ask for a referral to an atty for that county.

    I am working a ticket now also. I was on I-10 west bound to Houston. West of Beaumont where I-10 goes to 3 lanes, the speed drops to 65 MPH. I was stopped for 73 in a 65.

    Best way to handle?

    Slow down.

    You can rent time on a track if you need to go 100mph or so.

    Don't make us slow pokers pay for your ego maintenance.
