Is a Porsche 911 expensive to maintain VS MB?

I want to buy a 911 and drive it every day. Although I dont drive much, I want to be able to drive it alot. But I was at a mechanic replacing a water pump on my old honda and the price was $145 with labor. There was a CL600 next to me and I asked the dealer how much it would be to get a new water pump for that car. He said about $2500. I was floored! Is it that expensive to upkeep a Porsche 911 too?

No - if you have the extended warranty then it won't leave you with large bills either. The specialists in the UK have the situation sorted as well. I have run a 996 for the last three years and now on my latest 02 Cab.

I recently had my waterpump replaced on my 911 and it ran just ver 900. Labor and parts for Porsche are a little higher than mainstream cars.
