Re: 133k
Engine runs like new...but tranny has a loud main bearing.
I do have to add 1 qt of oil ususally between 2000 and 2500 miles (500-1000 miles before I change it). It burned this much oil when I bought it with 80k on the clock...I suspect with all those valves these cars burned some oil wit zero miles on the clock. I have had similar experiences with every DOHC car I have owned BMW or not.

Oh man!!!
I sold my Leisle. :( Shortly after you left the military rehabitated the airfield for some kind of training area. Then the hurricanes came and all the not so often used airfields became depots for trees and other debris. Saufley Field has become a sea of trailers. I'll be shipping out soon to Sig, maybe I'll see you there. Take care of your M, what ever you do DO NOT sell that car. You'll regret it every day. Just like me.
Take care buddy, SteveSteven

Re: High mileage? How many do you have?
Following that path... what would be the right price for 113k miles silver/gray, no accidents, no body damage, no track time, with brand new SO3's on polished wheels ( throwing stars), SS brake lines, Short shifter, OEM+Dinan+D'Silva chips, new rear shocks with self-leveling, replaced control arms, chain tensioner, oil and water pumps, cam sprockets, guibo.... engine, clutch and transmission are flawless.?????????
