Had the M out on highway 2 this weekend
hauled some serious_***... car felt just planted the whole time. Also, met up with a super old dude in a 745i, and we traded back and forth with taking the lead. The 7 had good top end! Not much between his car and mine from say 140 to 210 or so
On the way back a cop busted me for my side window tint... ah well I guess I got off easy, heh
The car also reads 11 L/100km @ 140km/h in fifth gear... not bad IMO

Re: there is a PY E46 near where I live, big fockin
It can be pretty entertaining when you are driving it though. I have gotten used to it.
The e46 near you isn't an '01 is it? That is the only one I can remember without the stock rims.
I think I live just east of you, I'm on the east side of the Saddledome. 5min walk to the door.

not sure how to differentiate build years...
yeah I imagine having 8000 rpm's to play with would keep you from getting bored :) Not sure if I'll move to an E46 M car when the day comes, might look for a cherry E39 M5 for the space. Still, I love the interior of the E46s and I think SMG would be fun.
I live a little further from you, down near the bow between 7th and 8th st.

The easy way to tell between a 2002 and a
2003.5 is the LED tail lights. Other than that it gets a little tougher. Also, the 2003 got a front strut brace(not that you can see that).
Model Changes e46 M3
