Where do you guys buy OEM parts. Toronto
Where do you guys buy OEM parts?
I am looking for a good source , online or otherwise.
For instance today I need to buy wiper blades, CAM position sensor, air filter, spark plugs etc...
In the US you can buy way cheaper then at the dealer from a number of online shops. In Canada there is only bimmerspecialist.com that I know of and they do not have all the parts I need.
please share

Autobraun in Edmonton...
They do have a web site, but it doesn't show much of anything,if you're into the long distance charges, phone them at...780-448-9080,or fax at...780-448-9134.I've personally bought lots of performance parts from them, good prices and service. The only thing is that some of the parts depending on what you're looking for can take awhile...ie germany...etc.Ask for Vincent...Cheers...Icabob

Agreed. Crevier is awesome.
We ordered the BMW Style 99 wheels for our X5 from Crevier. BMW dealer in Canada wanted over $600 PER WHEEL. After shipping, brokerage, and customs, each wheel worked out to $275. Amazing. I've ordered mats for the M3, sun shields, and a bunch of other stuff from Crevier. Always works out much, much cheaper.

Which sun shields? For the M3?
Do you mean the rear window sun shield behind the rear seat headrests? Or is it for the rear side windows?
I'd like to get sun shields, but didn't know they were available for the M3. Thanks for any info...
Yeah, I've ordered stuff from Crevier before. I absolutely recommend it.

I recommend them. Talk to Vaheh on the the parts board to get 'Internet' prices otherwise regular Crevier retail prices are higher. Tell him CellMan sent ya! :)
Yeah, you pay Crevier for parts and shipping in USD. They courier with UPS. UPS delivers and you pay UPS brokerage fee plus Canadian duty (essentially GST/PST). I think that's it. Even after all that, it's still miles cheaper than at Canadian dealers.

Sorry, not very clear, here........
It was just the windshield, fold-up thing you stick up on your dashboard to block the sun from coming in your windshiled.
I DID consider ordering all the parts to retrofit the electric rear window sunshade, which is apparently very easy to do, but decided not to in the end.
Sorry for the confusion

No problem...
I'd love to get the electric rear shade retrofit, the electric folding wing mirrors, RG4s, etc. etc.... :)
My wish list is growing day by day, but my bank balance can't support my habit! :) Gotta keep saving!
Its amazing what the price difference is. Apparently, the clowns at BMW Canada set the price for parts across Canada. I inquired at other dealers in other provinces and got the same price. Decision was easy to go with Crevier!
