    Sometime ago Autosport reported that BMW got the M6 approved by the FIA for homologation. However, BMW reps have said that in order for the car to race...at least a regs for gt1 would have to be changed

    Rumour from someone who is very connected

    is that there may be a factory effort based on the Z4 M Coupe or roadster.

    I would hate to see resources wasted on making the M6 into a race car when BMW should be concentrating on the WTCC, and hpefuly the Z4 M.
