Is it just me, or do the new TX license stickers

Suck? I just put the new sticker on my E-30, getting it out of the form is a trick in itself, any torn edges stick to the tape, & must be scraped or left looking ragged, and no matter how neat you are it still looks like crap.

You are so right!!! I was lucky and got the last month that I didnt have to get the new one. At lease one year before that nasty thing. A sugestion... Trim off the outside take and put double sided clear tape on the inside of the sticker. It will make it like years before.

Target, Walmart, or a craft store..

Often used for mounting photographs. I actually have some that's no-residue and acid-free for this use. Comes in the same dispenser as normal Scotch tape.

Strangely I never thought of trying it. I just keep my sticker in the door pocket since it fell off after about an hour.

Wait until you try to replace it

Taking them off is much worse. Itried everything to get the adhesive off. Nothing seemed to work. I finally used a razor and got the old adhesive off.

Strange, mine fell off in a couple hours by itself

The adhesive was totally worthless. Next time I'll use double-sided tape or (what I normally do), just leave the new one in the glove box all year and don't even bother with it.

I trim off the excess....much cleaner...

and leave about 1/8" of adhesive around the sticker. I just found out that not only do they look shoddy, the are a PITA to remove cleanly...I had to use a clay bar to clean up the left over adhesive...
