the point is that JAL is not telling the truth.

having both E55 and M5. I can tell what statement is true or not.

To state that M5 is luxurious is a blatant lie. Simply put, M5's interior is a little too cold. Also the aluminum trim on the M5 is not that good.

I don't normally attack (or i don't think I am attacking JAL personally). I don't think he is telling the truth.

Everything he has stated is simply not the case.

I don't like my E55 as much as my M5. However, I will state the obvious truth. The E55's interior is more luxrious than M5.

"M5 is a track car that has 4 door." Not so sure

about that. With the exception of the 'ring Taxi, I don't see E60 M5s spending too much time on the track.

Mine was not too happy with the 8 laps of the 'ring (just over 100 miles) it was called upon to do. Yes it was blazingly fast in the fast bits, and apart from wanting to understeer, handled quit well in the twisty bits. The fact remains that it is rather lardy and the brakes and tyres cannot cope with the weight.

It is a luxurious car with very high performance, but by no means a "track car".

Have to agree on that last point. BMW has drifted

away from pure performance cars and I'd like to see them get back to their roots even in a car like the M5. Offer a stripper version with less bells and whistles and pare the weight down to a bare minimum.

The market dictates that we need tonnes of sound deadening, heavy options and the like. Enthusiasts make up a very small percentage of BMW buyers and they are not being catered to any more.

Drive a 15 year old Alpina B10 Biturbo to see what I mean. I did and it was an eye opener.

At least it should be easy to sell.

You think the gas tank is small? Try it on the Autobahn at a decent cruising speed...

Great car just the same! Somebody will take it off your hands if you can't live with it.

You have a '93 Civic DX, but it has a fartcan.

So, maybe you do know what you're talking about. Those fartcans are real tricky to handle.

I ordered mine a full year before production.

So how could I have tested it unless I was an industry pool test driver?

At least I had seen it in the flesh, only lightly disguised, which is more than other buyers can say.

One can sit and wait and let life pass them by or take steps to make dreams come true. Take your pick.

Gosh you are the KK guy in mbworld forums

Or you posted his pics, well whatever.

I know you love your m5, but it doesn't give any reason to be a hater towards someone who doesn't like the m5.

If you can not even appreciate other people's comments on the products they own, I seriously would think there are bigger issues going on with you.

    (Ego problems etc....)

And you don't have much of a thing to say to another fellow M5 owner stating "people like him should have not bought the m5".

    Reality check for you.

It's his money. If he wants he can dump his sh... on 80K and then leave it in front of your door for a nice smell for your hatred.

If he wants to spend the money he did, and he can complain about it as well. Don't tell me that you never made a decision that you did not like in the end.

    Well Put!...

I feel for the abuse you took on this thread. You did so with integrity and kept your point strongly on track. I am sure its a fabulous car and though your issues wouldnt detur me from a potential purchase it may be more useful information to those who share your driving habits/paths. Kudos for honestly sharing your experience and not following the BS path that most would in your position. Sorry that your large investment is not giving you the pleasure you dreamed it would for the last year or so. I figured to help ease your pain I'd make you an offer to get rid of that peice of crap car you are stuck with. $59k and its out of your hair forever!

Only kidding.... unless youre not. ;-)

I made it clear. I only attach when people is

telling lies over and over again. And yes i am the same kk guy from mbworld.

All of his post made were totally wrong.

That i have problem with. I don't care if he does not like M5.

The fact of matter is that his post on the M5 was totally off base.

To claim that M5 is luxury over E55 is simply the biggest lie that I have heard.

E55's interior is far better than M5 period.

My comment on customer like him should not buy an M5 is also correct.

This is my 3rd M and 2nd with SMG. It take a little bit of skills to understand what M car is about, especially with SMG.

I bought an M3 two year prior to my 2nd M5 so I can spend time with it and understand how SMG worked.

SMG is a dog? For someone to claim to have driven M3 and mustang. He/she must be at least familar with how a manual works. He/she must understand that SMG is simply a simplified manual with no clutch pedal. But to drive it smoothly like a true manual you have to learn to feather the throttle when shifting.

He made no mention of that.

In addition to complain that M5 gets 10 mpg while mustang gets way better gas mileage is also complete off base. Mustang 5.0 in the old day is a pushrod engine with just over 200HP. While M5 is a high rev, high compression N/A 5.0 pushing 500HP.

The original poster is simply a liar or a complete novice that should have bought an M5.

Going into the M5. I already know what M5 is basically a semi-exotic track car with 4 doors. The gas mileage would be in 10 mpg or less range. SMG will require good throttle control.

He had none of that. Hence, people like him should not buy an M5. He or she needs to start with a 330i manual and work his way up. Or at least have some understanding how manual works.

His/her post is so inconsistent and you can see right through his/her lies. Simple as that.

yes, again, things about the engine, quote him

for the first 10 minutes about the car, not the speed/performance, speed was the only thing they bragged about.
