Handling: M3 ZCP vs E60 M5

I would appreciate an opinion from someone who has driven (or owned) both an M3 with the competition package (ZCP) and the new M5.

I know the M3 ZCP can not compete in terms of power obviously, but how does it compare in terms of pure handling? Which car is more fun in the twisties?

I can give you some good insight on this. I have owned an 01, 02, 03, 04, M3 Coupes. I sold my M3 recently and picked up a fully loaded M5. I drove the M5 for 3 weeks and missed the handling of the M3. Thus, I sold my M5 and take delivery of an 06 Interlagos Blue/black ZCP M3 in about 2 weeks.

Why would someone own an 01, 02, 03 and 04 M3 when they are essentially the same. I could see upgrading to the ZCP however.
