quit humping my leg - it's disgusting
and if you want to worry about resale, start worrying about how much you're going to lose on that teutonic toad you supposedly have coming. that modern-day 914 will have a depreciation curve to match the original. current evo mag says the 993 is faster for 1/2 price - some progress, huh? ;)
as for me, i simply don't care about the money so give up already. won't work except to further lower my opinion of you (every time i doubt it's possible you come through with a surprise).

The Internets is the only humping you get Keebler!
You're an even bigger idiot than I ever thought. You don't CARE about any money you lose? You'll be draining $20,000 for this small time period of ownership and that's OK with you?
You MUST be SO bucks deluxe. Following the Joe McCarthy model of conducting business using clients mulla?
Don't end up in the jail compadre! :D
Could care less what some transplanted egomaniac on the web thinks of me. You SHOULD be concentrating on meeting the delivery dates of that funky little go-kart of yours. ;)
The Snapper is going to be an awesome car. Here in the United States the Boxster holds it's value very well and this latest Teutonic Rocket is sure to follow.
My old 993 is now owned by my brother so we'll have to see if those Brits know what the hell their talking about.
Why don't you stick to blowing hard about your brand new $90,000 Bimmer.........if anyone will listen to you after reading your silly prose today. :P
No one cares for a Flipper mister.

What it IS.......is the very future of Porsche!
The Krauts have been working on their deployments and flanking maneuvers for years. Just you wait and see.
Love the 911 series, having owned a couple, but they will eventually exist only in limited quantities for public consumption. The Snapper platform will eventually leap frog this venerable machine.
This car certainly looks better than the Buzzbomb. The sides and roofline are a bit odd but the overall design appeals to me. You seen one in the flesh yet?
This year a 3.4 liter........next year or so?
My very first two Porsches were 944's. That 951 Turbo was and still is to this day, one of the best cars I've ever owned. Believe that '44 series did fairly well in the marketplace also. ;)
Flop? I doubt it. The Snapper's here to stay. :D

Not that concerned at all. Porsches are worth it!
Boxster values have held VERY well. Plus......I've known the dealership for over 25 years. Not paying full boat. ;)
It's what we here in Texas call the Good Ol' Boy network. :D
Now.....you're probally going to be losing close to $20,000 on this M5 Escapade of yours. How do you rationalize that?
And to set the rcord straight I'm much more concerned with value than resale. My plastic Lotus Elyse with it's $1500 powertrain has always given me pause as it's worth will plummet south of $30,000 in another 6 months.
Still have'nt unloaded yours yet I see. :P

you assume too much
check resales on 928 for example - that was porsche's glorious future and an $80K car in its day, about $3K now (50% loss in the first 18 months).
where did you get the $20K figure? same place you get the rest of your ideas? did you wipe after you came up for breath? and even if it were $20K, it's inconsequential - i've made and lost more than that in the space of hours countless times. whatever. having fun is what matters.
anyway, good luck. you'll need it!

You're now on fire Donald "Keebler" Trumpovich?
You've been very lucky on some day trades, most many years ago. And the trick about money is not only making it.........but keeping it. :)
You'll be losing at least $15,000 when you off-load your new M5 in a month or so. Most Rednecks would consider this type of behaviour ODD! :D
Maybe for a nice Ferrari or McLaren........but for a 5-series M car? What'cha been growing up there in those piney woods?
The 928 was a great car. Don't believe Porsche believed it to be their Great Big Future. It was a GT for one. You are right as rain though that the sumb*tch lost money like crazy. The joke back then was that she depreciated $20,000 just being driven off the lot!
The Snapper is a completely different animal however. NO worries here. One bested most of the 911 records at the Ring.
Anyway, thanks for the concern.
