    Rear view mirror vibration solution

I do not know if this is an issue for anyone else here, but for some reason, the rear view mirror in my 8 seems to be less stable (vibrates) than my other vehicles.

I solved this by cutting a piece of dense black rubber (actually, an old computer mouse pad) into a 3/4" by 1.5-2.0" strip. I then rolled the strip into an elongated roll and wedged the roll between the mounting arm of the mirror and the windshield. This dampened the vibrations immensly (and you really can't even see the black rubber).
