I have a question for the Alpina V8 owners... My car has a rough cold idle that goes away once warmed up. The local BMW dealer confirms that the car has a rough cold idle but quite frankly is at a loss of how to correct it. They've run all the tests and everything checks out OK. A regional service engineer claims that the engine in the Alpina is supposed to be that way, but the dealer doesn't think any BMW engine should perform that way.

Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, how did you solve it.
