Looking for independent mechanic in Albany, NY
I got a '94 525i Wagon that needs some rear brakes and every time I take it to the dealer for something I can't get out of there for less than $1,000. The car is getting to old to have every single thing repaired every time I bring it in. Any suggestions? Renssalear County is good, Saratoga is too far.

Quality Foriegn Car Care in Ballston Spa. About 40 min. north.
Owner is Paul Hicks. I have used him for years. Excellent BMW mechanic and very honest. He is doing some work for me that I am not willing to tackle on a 1991 325ix that I just bought.
Good Luck

Bob Smart - Round Top, NY
He is Mr BMW.
He and I raced an e21 for the past 6 years. We are now building an e30 racer. He has kept the race car, my 89 Land Rover, '80 Chevy Dually, '60 Austin Healey as well as my '88ix alive for many years.
He is in Round Top, NY (30min south of Albany). I live in Saratoga Springs and have been going to him for years.
