Looking for independent mechanic in Albany, NY

I got a '94 525i Wagon that needs some rear brakes and every time I take it to the dealer for something I can't get out of there for less than $1,000. The car is getting to old to have every single thing repaired every time I bring it in. Any suggestions? Renssalear County is good, Saratoga is too far.

Why dont you just do the brakes yourself? Its very easy to just slip in new pads. If you want to throw on new rotors, order them online. It takes me about 30 min. per axle.
