    Recommended mechanic

    My neighbor Helmut Mayr, 301 299 3829, is good and recommended mechanic for BMWs. He is in Potomac and has 30 plus years experience working on BMWs and Mercedes. His rates are below the going rates in shops around the DC area.

    I am his neighbor and customer as well as good friend.

    I am sorry to say that Helmut has had a stroke and will not be able to work on cars till maybe in summer 2006.

    I am a customer of Helmut as well. I must say that he has recovered remarkably and is doing well. He's done a few repairs for me after recovering from the stroke.
