Did that front license plate repeal effort get

defeated? I heard so much about that a few months back and how the requirement was supposed to have become effective Nov. 1st in some form or another. The lady at the DPS just told me it didn't become law and it's still illegal to go without one.

As far as anyone knows, that's true?

only gave me a warning--i asked him about it and he said front plates are still required--wierd how they get right into your face when talking to you to check and see if they can smell alcohol or whatever
