Dallas North Tollway speeding ticket

The other night I got a speeding ticket on the tollway, 83 mph in a 55 mph zone, it was 1:30 AM, weather was clear, absolutely zero traffic, I was pretty much alone on the road (except for that state trooper….).

What should I do ? my main concern being that I'd like to keep it off my record.

Should I just pay and shut up or do I have any other option ? Driving Safety course ?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

But not sure that's an option for nearly 30 MPH over the limit.

I used Jack Pettit at 214.521.4567. I used him for a stop sign violation and I think it cost $75 or so. We had 6 months to go to court, so he scheduled it about 5 1/2 months out, the cop didn't show, so the fine disappeared and nothing's on my record.
