I am reasonably sure that the 525ix was the only
four wheel drive drive BMW for some time - quite rare. Alzo, if one reads the discription, the last entry on the right pane states Rear wheel drive - the first one reads Four wheel drive - curios and sus.
Also, the pic of the undercarriage, whilst not definitive, does not lend itself to a four wheel drive config...8-P
