Re: If the E46 M3's styling wasn't dated, your point

    "RS4"

This is a car worth taking a test drive in. Rarely has Audi sparked any of my interest -- but I like what I have read on this vehicle.

    As for the C55--
Mercedes builds a quality car but I have never been impressed with their performance vehicles . My feeling on Mercedes is that the cars are somewhat dull to drive but rather classy to sit in . Also the general bling bling look at me type crowd tend to love the "Benz" as well as the more mature and less driver enthusiast types . Don't get me wrong -- I just picked up a used E class that has only 11K miles on it which my girlfriend drives and we both love it for interior quality --but I must say --it really is BORING to drive. I wish Mercedes built a BMW type perforance car -- because the interior as well as body styling on the "Benz" totally outclasses anything I have recently seen from BMW . The new fangled BMW's are quite ugly and in my opinion the 3 series is the best of the worst(5 series --barf ) . Just my opinion.

    Re: Gotta wait and see

You can't compare oranges with apples. On the other hand the market population interested in M3 is not the same interested in a 335i.Botton line very differents animals.

HEY! ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS!!!!!!!!!

I told all of you this exact data months ago.

Do the reasearch (A roadfly search for starters) and see when I confirmed/announced this info. Next time I tell you the way things will be, believe it, period.

Yes, again, I had the only accurate inside scoop.

Anyone care to ask more questions...cuz I have answers???

LOL. It is about time BMW confirmed it. Jeez.

Really, though. At this point, I am clearly the most reliable source on this board. (people cheering)

I also have scoop on the the 4 door? X5? M3?

    Wanna know?????????????

    Just ask.

You know what I like about you ?

Right now,,, Nothing... Far be it from you to say "I told you so" right ??

But really, in my own defense, at that time there was so much crap being thrown around here I was going with my gut. And my gut in times like those usually tells me to say "I'll believe it when I see it"..

And actually there sport, isn't this article saying 325 and 335 ?
You said 328-335.. Its also saying a 330 coupe...

I don't really dislike the styling as much as

it just doesn't make me think "BMW". I know people have been saying for months that it looks too generic, like every other asian car on the market. Personally, I gave the car a chance to become visually appealing to me, but after this much time it's still not happening and I'm starting to figure it never will, at least not like other models before it. To make matters worse (for me), they tossed the cockpit concept you'd get in the driver's seat, and which BMW seemed to be somewhat famous for, and subsequently they seemed to have alienated a whole lot of old fans of the marquee. The interior just seems cold now. Getting rid of the cockpit, not to mention deleting so many of the gauges, just seems to have taken the spirit out of the car. It seems more about luxury now than performance.

Again, I'm not saying it's wrong, but it's certainly different, and different doesn't work for everybody. Truth is, if I wanted a car with that design I'd probably be looking at one of the asian models just because of their reliability alone. But I can't move one way or the other until my wife decides if she might want to pursue a 3 series wagon or not.

Beautiful Car, but with gas @ $3/gal I'm gonna

pass. Too bad the environmental laws in California and the NE states make a BMW Diesel nothing but a figment of my imagination.

What are you talking about? The 335i will get

The 335i will get about 2 or 3 mpg less than the "E90" 330i. The "E90" 330i gets better MPG than your E46 330i ZHP. The 335i will get about the same MPG as the car that you are driving now. Anymore excuses?
