    Navigation System

Has anyone tried installing a Harman Kardon Traffic Pro navigation system/CD/Radio system in their E28 M5? Or any other type of navigation system that required connection to aspeed sensing signal from the car? If so, where did you connect to that signal? Does anyone know where I can find a place to connect to get that signal (speedometer? or OBC? or where?)

    Appreciate any help!!!

    Rick,

It's one of the blue wires behind the instrument cluster. Look for a wire labeled "TEMPO" in the wiring diagram. I installed a Blaupunkt RNS149 a couple of years ago and I've forgotten which wire it is exactly. I think it's the wire connected to the speedo with an edge connector. It should go to the cruise control module. There is another wire with the same signal that goes from the IC to the OBC, but it's harder to locate since it's in a harness.
