SLS switch - boy am I in trouble now...

As I posted previously my SLS has been acting up a little..
At rest (unloaded) it is fine. When loaded up, and stopped with key on, the suspension goes up and down endlessly.

I removed the switch and opened it up looking for some dirty contacts etc....
there is not much to see inside. It is a variable resistor thing, which I just wiped clean.
Now back together... the leveling does not move at all. I will check for fuses but i hope the switch is OK. THe price from BMW for the part is over a thousand dollars US!!!!!!
Ill have to check with that roundel advertiser..

In the meantime, who has knowledge of this switch?

Regarding the Roundel advertiser, do you have his contact info? I remember seeing him listed a few months ago but I have not seen the ad since. If it is the one that I saw, he is in the Chicago area near me. If you have his contact info, I would appreciate it.

A lot of people have ditched the SLS on their cars.
