Who knows How to Replace Door/Window Mldgs

Swapping out the black Shadow Line Moulding along the door and rear window. Who knows how to remove the moulding along the top of the door and the rear window without damaging it?? Special Tools???

Earlier postings (2004) strongly suggest that this swap is not a do-it-yourself job. Owners have gone both ways (Shadowline to chrome, chrome to Shadowline). Best bet is a body shop specializing in premium cars. My recollection is that the parts are in the $200 range and that a few hours labor are required.

Just to let you know that the parts are quite a bit more than $200!
Try about $600.00!! Myself and another member were able to figure this out ourselves and removed both of our trim without and damage or big hassle!!

JBaker. Did you remove the trim or remove it and replace it with the desired trim? Thanks

Yes; I removed the trim from my car which was black, and replaced it with the chome moulding!! Met another member here on the board who did the same thing. We actually swaped our parts with each other. So we each had Nothing, in cost to us. We were both successful in removing the trim from each car without any damage.
