Earlier postings (2004) strongly suggest that this swap is not a do-it-yourself job. Owners have gone both ways (Shadowline to chrome, chrome to Shadowline). Best bet is a body shop specializing in premium cars. My recollection is that the parts are in the $200 range and that a few hours labor are required.

Yes; I removed the trim from my car which was black, and replaced it with the chome moulding!! Met another member here on the board who did the same thing. We actually swaped our parts with each other. So we each had Nothing, in cost to us. We were both successful in removing the trim from each car without any damage.
