    First time here on this board. Question on

    a E39 purchase. Looking to get a 01-02 M5, found a 01 for $35K with 56K on it (dealer). Any major service or recall to be aware of? 60K service is needed or not?

    This is going to be the second "family" car so will probably put 12K plus on it a year.

    Check service interval indicator bars 4 estimate

    No major recalls that I'm aware of. People usually recommend checking the clutch. good luck. Can you still get an extended warranty/cpo?
