    What am I doing?

I've had problems with cookies and trying to post here on Roadfly.
I haven't been able to log on in a long while and I can't figure it out at all.
Since the 2nd of July I've been in Kauai and now I am posting from Maui.
    Viv,
I had poke from Safeway in Kauai for $5/lb and had another tonight in Maui. Just thought you would like to know they were both good.
If any of you want to stay at the Marriott at Poipu beach in Kauai or Marriott Maui beach club at Kaanapali and have just won the lottery, I may be able to help you.
Hopefully, I will still be able to post after resizing some pictures I've taken.

    Bob,
Have fun with the tile, just make sure to keep your base line straight and square or your tile will drift around. I am full of information on construction if you need any advice. Generally speaking I have nothing better to do than to meet with BMW owners. So if you want to pick a day and a Starbucks then I should be able to do that.

Hopefully pics to follow my friends.

Re: What am I doing? Pics

I picked up an underwater camera before I left and the turtle pics were at the aquarium in Maui. The plumeria was in Kauai. I am on a quest to locate a dark red plumeria to bring back with me.

Dang!!! And I'm screwing around in the B'room???

Geez, those are awesome pix Kev!!! Haven't been to Hawaii in 10+ years, makes me want to pack a bag an hop on a plane right now :)

BTW, tile job came out great, with the help of a friend who installs tile all the time as part of his job. We did a diagonal pattern, which actually can help with that "drift" problem. Makes for more involved cutting, looks super now!

But then I got the bright idea to recess the new medicine cabinet, cut a big square in the wall last night. I knew that I already had to deal with cutting out a stud and re-routing the plumbing vent, but forgot to check what else might be in the way. Well, how 'bout an electical outlet from the other side of the wall!!! Talk about stupid, good thing I know how to work on cars :)

    Enjoy your stay in Hawaii!!!
    Cheers, Bob

    Bob,
People wonder why construction workers take a lot of time to do things?
I think you may know now.
Hawaii is probably very different than what was 10 years ago. Prices per sq/ft are comparable with the best areas of the bay. The average price is now $500k+. Rack rates are 3-800 and everything is very crowded on Maui. Kauai was much better.
We ended up purchasing more timeshares this trip, one on Kauai and one on Maui. Now we can "point whore" our way to free trips and things.

Well, in that case I won't post after this weekend...
can't... I'll be in Dana Point enjoying the beaches and sand. I might buy a bucket of dirt for $50 in Pala next to the casino. You have to appreciate minerals and mines to understand that one.- gems of Pala -

No degree, not sure if I actually have a job, able to spend 4 weeks in Hawaii and drive an E38.
    Priceless.

Eventually I'll post some pics for your pleasure after resizing them.

Almost any weekend I can drink Starbucks Ian.

Oh, glad to see you ventured out to try something

new! We're in the east coast for a few days, enjoying the humidity. Yeah, right. It's hot, sticky, AND rainy! Actually it didn't rain today, but had thunderstorms the past 2. Arggggh.. We wish we were in Hawaii! Nice pictures.
