BBS RS vs BMW Style 5

Is there any difference, other than price, between BBS RS and BMW Style 5 wheels with the rivets? Can the BBS logo be replaced with the BMW roundel in the BBS RS wheel?

Re: BBS RS vs BMW Style 5

A few differences that I know of. Both are high quality with forged centers. BBS RS is a 3 piece composite wheel, the style 5s are 2 piece. I've only seen the RSs in 16", but were available in several sizes. Style 5s are 17". They look like rivets, but they're bolts with funny heads. The RSs will not need hubcentric rings, the 5s will. I've seen both on Ebay for about $1000 to $1400 depending on condition. The style 5s are made by BBS also.

Also, there's a slight difference in styling

The outer rim on a Style 5 is deeply recessed, with the look of a "deep-dish" type wheel. The RS has a bevelled. or tapered outer rim which IMO looks a lot better. Both are beautiful wheels though, and look great on a six.<img src="http://homepage.mac.com/jessiemccann/larry/635csi.jpg" height=241 width=419>
