Shoulder harness rub?
If anyone finds the shoulder strap in their Z8 cuts across their neck when fastened, there is a fairly simple solution. The belt passes through a leather loop on top of the seat which is designed to keep it from getting lost behind the seat. If you sew a row of stitches of thread through the loop app. 1/2" out from the edge of the headrest, you will restrict the shoulder strap's ability to slide towards the center of the seat. This keeps it out towards your shoulder and off of your neck.
Before proceeding, I recommend experimenting with tape around the loop to determine the best location for the stitches given individual body shapes, etc.. You must be careful to leave a large enough loop so the belt glides easily back into its retraction mechanism. Check this before sewing. The 1/2" spacing works perfectly for me.
You can also use a staple or a rivet to accomplish the same thing if you aren't into sewing.

Try Roadster Solutions
They developed a seat belt pad in the early days of the Z3 - black leather with "ROADSTER" stitching. The black and beige one looks perfect on a black/crema interior.
These folks sell a full range of products for the Z8. I have the pads from them as well as a dust-stop cover. They are very prompt and really nice to deal with.
