Rear shock Replacement on 95 M540i

The rear shocks on my e34 with Adaptive-M suspension need replacing. I bought both shocks and would like to try replacing them myself. Other than the extra electrical connections, I'm wondering if there's extra steps involved in replacing them or is the process the same as the regular e34 (for which I have the service manual).

Also, is there anywhere I can find the correct alignment specs for a 95 M540i? I wonder if they are the same for a 93 M5?

    Many thanks,

    RGW

The replacement procedure is the same with the exception of the EDC control wires, as you noted.

The alignment specs are the same as the '95 M5.
