    Trouble with stock radio

    I have a 1988 M3 with the factory radio. It is getting more frequent that the am/fm part will sound like it is under water pulsing and the signal strength is gone. The tape player works fine all the time. It is not involved with engine speed or the fan motor and as quick as it starts it will come back on. I am leaning towards something with the tuner. If anyone has any info that would be great. Thanks John

    Have you tried pulling it yet? It may be a simple power issue.
