M5 S38B36 Upgrades

Hi i just joined this forum and am looking to find anybody with knowledge on the e34 m5 s38b36 engine. currently i have a jim comforti chip, supersprint center section and a Eisenhaus rear race muffler. i am currently in the process of making a cold air intake for the car and am wondering if anyone has found any other modifications that have worked well on this car. The engine can benefit from a Schrick 272 intake cam with the S38B38 intake gear - no change to the 264 exhaust cam. Strange sounding setup, but proven on the B35 and B36 engines. Other than that, more power over what you currently have will be difficult and expensive. Porting, polishing and overboring the block will not yield a lot. Forced induction will, but here comes the major expense. Hope this helps.

Heard 3.8 maf makes more power I have the jim conforti chip with the adjustable cam gears and K/N.

Chip and exhaust cam gear from the euro is said to push up to 351hp. (Their claims and my seat of the pants experience.) Very noticible difference.
