Re: Bluetooth BMW 645 2004
if you go to the communication menu you should see a bluetooth menu (if it is activated). You may have to upgrade the software and have the dealer activate the bluetooth. There are many strings covering this topic on this board, just do a search for "bluetooth" and you should get lots of info on the software version, etc...
Once activated you will need to follow your phone pairing instructions.

Yes, Bluetooth BMW 645 2004
Yes, it should have Bluetooth (I have a 2004 645 Ci that also has Bluetooth). The pairing process is outlined in the Bluetooth communications manual (online at bmw.com in the Owner's section) as well as in Jonathan Spira's excellent article in Roundel earlier this year.

Re: Bluetooth BMW 645 2004
Hi,
I am in Europe and I have a May 2004 645ci. When entering the VIN in BMW UK it says that I don't have Bluetooth. Although in the armrest there is a BMW Blutooth phone installed and it connects and pairs perfectly with the Idrive. My car then does have bluetooth.
I don't know whether it was an option or if the previous onwer had upraged but there definitly is a bluetooth kit installed.
As for other phones, they are recognized and seem to be pairing for a few seconds then nothing. I just can't get them to communicate with Idrive. I have a feeling the system might just be locked by BMW. ANy suggestions?
Thanks
