    speeding ticket

I just got a ticket in Florida for going 20MPh over the limit. I still have an out of state DL. The cop said the good news that it will go on your out of state license. Is that true? I always thought it effects the state that issues the ticket. Not sure what to do. I am in process of changing my DL, should I take an online course so I won't get points? I am not even sure how many points you get for that. I have only had 2 ticket in the past 14 years! I am shocked.

Take the class, points can mean increase insurance

cost. Insurance will find out about it whether it happened in your current state or not.

    Re: speeding ticket

It seems it will cost me 4 points. What I need to know is if it will go on my out os state license or not. I thought about the course, but i wanted to save it for a really bad ticket.

    Re: speeding ticket

A right of passage, I suppose? A speeding ticket in the M5 is inevitable.
