Folks,

About a week ago we implemented a new advertising method in the forums. Many of you noticed the green underlined in-text ads and complained that the ads were too intrusive. We heard you and as of yesterday we discontinued the use of the green underline ads within the body of message forum posts.

This is the second time in the last year we have tried to implement a similar system. The ads didn't work from the standpoint that they were annoying too many of our regular contributors. In our never ending quest to generate revenue from the forums we tried the IntelliTXT in-text ads. It was a mistake and I apologize for it. You won't see them again.
