    suspension woes

So, I've owned my 91 M5 for little over a year....great car! Recently had a rear shock leak, removed self load leveling system for Bilstien HD all around keeping original springs up front with new OEM springs at rear. Also added Racing Dynamics anti sway bars, 27mm front and 19mm rear.
When turning steering wheel to left until lock inside left tire rubs the arm of the sway bar. When turned opposite direction still rubs but not as much as left side. Got wheel alignment done as well as tie rods, upper control arms and idler arm replaced....still rubs.
Talked to Bavarian Autosport staff, they suggest 5mm spacers. Has anyone out there run into similar or same problem? What do you think of wheel spacers. Any help would be great, thanks in advance

Mine have rubbed for five + years. The Dinans don't I understand. I would rather have the rubbing then run spacers which can cause steering wheel shake, etc. It is only in very tight spots at low speeds so I don't worry about it.

'91 M5 (RD sways for about 160,000 miles, rubbing all the way)

Mine setup also has the RD anti-roll bars up front and I've noticed rubbing as well. It only seems to be when the wheel is near full-lock. I haven't noticed any tire wear, so I am living with it.

I agree that spacers sound like a bad idea.
