My M5 mirrors showed up today, no wonder I can't(m

    get any work done!
So if I don't paint them silver they match the black shadow line trim as well as the molding and my tinted windows.
What do you guys think, leave them flat black or paint them titanium silver?
I'll mount them "as is" this weekend and see what they look like.
Now to figure out how to power the fold up function without buying new window controllers. If I get it to work I'll post the info.

At least mount one side then step back

and take a long look and decide you don't like them, then send them to me at a generous discount of course :).

At least post a pic after mounting, they might look good in the flat black, kind of stealthy...

I ordered them on 10/10 and they showed up today(m

I'm still on for 11/7 visit. If it doesn't snow(ugh) I'll be in the bottle rocket.
Jesse never replied to any of my emails, but the mirrors did show up.

I will do that, take a pic, not send them to U (m)

Good try Wayne, I do kinda owe you for the photoshop work on my sig pic, thanks again.....might need you to do another!
I'm leaning toward black, I'll mount them and see what they look like, I do like flat black look.....it doesn't reflect laser beams as well! Every one and their brother seems to have the new laser guns around here. This is another reason I use the Colgan bra when I hit the highway.

Why not just put some pasties on them?

I think you should leave them black. Then you can take the door panels off 2 or 3 more times before you decide to paint them. In this way you will be sure to break numerous door clips and ruin the plastic moisture barrier assuring that the door panels will squeak incessantly and leak.

I have to take mine off this winter and get them repainted due to rock chips. I paid 125 to paint them with the M5 trunk spoiler 2 years ago. You're welcome to take a look at my switch housing and/or the passenger side module to figure out the folding circuit.

I just bought the same ones [PICS]

I believe it was a post from you where I found the link to the details of this deal, so I have to say thanks.

I got mine last week and had them painted already and last night did the installation. It was more of a pain than I expected compared to my E36 but not too bad. I re-used all of the factory bolts, gaskets, and foam inserts. Here are installed photos on my 540 (quality of photos is not that great, but it was the best I could do on the way to drop her off for warranty work):

01 M5 LeMans/Caramel [full leather, fold down seats, PDC]
    02 330Cic Orient/Sand/Blue [sport, PDC, prem, cwp]
94 M3 Imola/Black [not even close to stock]
