Help!!! Fuel tank breather valve replacement

Is this a DIY job??? Does anyone have any pics on the process or know exactly where this part is. I was a former e38 owner and decided to upgrade to a e39 M5. I have a little practice working with cars thanks to savvy people in these forums. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    All comments are greatly appreciated!!!

Should be the same as any E39... Bentley manual?

If this is the valve I'm thinking of, it's under the rear seat cushion and not hard to get to.
