    Wheel application...

Hey all. Gotta quick offset question. I'm looking at a nice set of staggered wheels for the car. The wheels are sized at 18x8 for the front and 18x9 for the rear. Both ends have 20mm offsets. I know the fronts will be no problem as I am running 18x8 et20 wheels all the way around now with no problem. My worry is about the rear. With the increased width is the et20 going to mean that the wheel will be too far out to clear the fender? I've heard about some running 18x9 et22 rears on these cars, but I have not been able to confirm that. Thanks.

    Re: you should be fine

You should be ok, I have 17x9 throwing stars at the rear w/ a 19mm offset. (from an E31) and only slight rubbing w/ full load on bumps on the right side. I have 234/47/17's on them. I have heard if I got 9" w/ 20-22mm offset there will be no rubbing at all.
