    Goertz's 507 was the inspiration for our Z8s. At its introduction he paid the Z8 the ultimate compliment by saying that if he were to design the 507 today, it would be the Z8. In turn, the Z8 is a tribute to his genius, that 50 years after he penned the 507's lines they would become the basis for one of the most beautiful automobiles of the next century. His greatness will live on as long as a 507 or Z8 exits.
