e34 suspension taking it to the next level
i've got a 89 535 turbo. not really into the drag racing scene. i autocross it a lot.
just trying to take it to the next level with the suspension
does anyone have any advice.
i have bilstein sports, h&r springs, strut bar....
i have way too much power for an autocross, just have to keep the tires honest....
what i am trying to shoot for is something as neutral as a e36 m3. i know its possible because dinan raced their 540 against porsches at the track, and the car starts off 50/50 weight distribution.

Re: e34 suspension taking it to the next level
I'd start looking for Camber plates and to replace bushings with harder or even spherical bearings in places. The 535 should be even better than the 540 on handling ulitmately because of the lighter engine and I think lighter bracing. Probably want to look at different wheels/tires, sway bars and alter spring rates to reduce understeer. Sounds fun. And there's no such thing as way too much power!
