    Imagine targeting a victory in something like

    competitive racing...at least they're giving themselves a year.

    "New England Patriots targeting a victory or 2 by 2008...please continue to pay athletes, coaches and ticket prices in full while we work on it."

    Didn't Toyata target victories by 2006?

    IIRC, when they started they said something like that by 2006 they'd be competing for the WDC, which is really saying they'd be scoring multiple wins.

    Guess they've found out that F1 is one place you can't just buy victories, because EVERYONE spends $$ like drunken sailors on their first day in port.
