    Maintenance questions

    Hi everyone

Just getting our M5 ready for a major maintenance session and have a few questions.
Can someone post best type of gearbox synthetic and weight as well as for the diff?
I believe Redline is best, it is also what i use in my 318is.
    heres a list so far:
    fan belts
    rad hoses
    coolant flush
    synthetic oil change
    fuel, oil , air filters

This is a car we just purchased awhile back and it does have some maintenance issues. Suggestions most welcome. Valves were adjusted at dealer not too long ago.
    Thanks everyone.

    Re: Maintenance questions

Other maint items you may want to check and replace at the same time:
Brake fluid (I do mine every 2 yrs)
    Trans mounts
    heater valve diaphram
flush and replace power steering fluid (dont' forget new filter)
power steering return hose (old ones collapse under stress)
    cold start fuel hose
replace old fuses with new ones
