    Need garage design help.

We are finally starting renovations on our house. The garage will be all new. It is just wide enough to fit 2 cars, ceiling is 9' or so.
I would like both a lift and a drain for washing the cars inside. I don't think both are possible.
So, I am leaning towards the lift, a flush mount scissors-type. Link below.
My contractor was going to slope the floor 3". Is this not a good idea as far as working on the cars? Parts rolling, cars rolling and such. Or is it enough to let the water drain by itself?

    Re: Need garage design help.

    I have a Direct Lift Pro-Park 7 4 pole (after thinking I wanted a 2 pole), 9' ceilings and a "standard" grade...but I think its in degrees not inches?
See garage pictures below in other threads in this forum from "tomcat".
[email protected] if I can help
