01 M5 FULL DINAN for $23k w/ 101k?
Deal or No deal? Should I run from this? Maintainance issues? Owner says car is perfect, needs nothing. Has new clutch. Dinan dual-dual exhausts, dual air intakes, throttle body, light-weight flywheel, software and so on. Two owner with access to both for questions, all books/receipts. I've been a long time roadfly participant on the mcoupe, e34, e36 boards and may be joining you guys shortly. Any advice appreciated. Car will ship from AZ (were it spent its life) to Ray Korman in NC for immediate inspection/compression tests etc.

Note: car owned by BMW cert. Master Mechanic
who manages the BMW Service dept. in AZ. Car comes with raving reviews. To Good To Be True? Most things are but I guess sometimes dreams can come true as well. I guess we'll see. Look forward to meeting many of you at the track or an M Day somewhere sometime.
PS- I'm in Wilmnington, NC if there are any other 5'ers wanting to hang. Got a 34, 36, and now a 39. Land that e30 m5 and an 86 911/930T and a man couldn't ask for more.

Re: Note: car owned by BMW cert. Master Mechanic
Car has 101k on it. But always serviced at one dealer, always in Arizona, never wrecked, never tracked with 10+k in Dinan upgrades. Trust me guy doesn't want to sell but I won it no reserve on ebay. He was in a hurry to sell so he could buy a 355 ferrari. has new tranny, light weight fly, exhausts air intake and the list goes on. I checked the owner out with some local BMW guys who know the car and says the owner is a perfectionest and that I won't find a better one.

Re: 01 M5 FULL DINAN for $23k w/ 101k?
I have a 01 Lemans Blue with 70K miles. All options including suede headliner. I have done many upgrades recently including 4 new tires at 62K. The check engine light is on due to the much publicised carbon issue, but the car runs perfect. I am a motivated seller due to a new baby & would let it go for $25K. Let me know if you are interested & I will send pictures.
For info on the carbon issue & how to fix it click here. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=84422
