Re: GT2 battle in 12 Hours of Sebring
BMW's return to ALMS?
Something may be in the works for next year from a major force in US racing. There will be hints in the coming months though the initial focus will appear to be something other than ALMS. I learnt of this possibility in the past week and will speculate further when time comes.
Cheers

Video of the last lap battle
Jaime Melo was driving the # 62 Ferrari F430 GTC while Jörg Bergmeister was driving the # 45 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.
The 1st and 2nd place cars in GT2 completed 330 laps. Just 16 were under caution for the 55th running of the Twelve Hours of Sebring. The margin of victory was just .202 seconds.
Ferrari got its first victory in the Twelve Hours of Sebring since 1998 when Didier Theys, Mauro Baldi, and Gianpierro Moretti won in a Ferrari 333SP.
The back stretch is called the Ulmann straight.

Re: GT2 battle in 12 Hours of Sebring
Oh, come on... you can't drop a jewel like that without a bit more of a hint. You are sounding a lot like the Bear's PaddockPoop. :)
A major force in US racing? Well, PTG jumps to mind, as well as Pratt and Miller. I am sure there are plenty more to choose from.
Options are:
M6 GT1 car
M3 GT2 car (Power won't be a problem)
M Coupe GT2 car (power might be a problem??)
1 Series SWC or GA car? :)
