Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Make sure
you collect your Cigar the next time you see me.
Some Data points:
Got my 840 when Russell (My First Son) was 2 years old.
Got my 860 when Romel (My Second Son) was 2 years old.
I wonder what 8 will be in my future when Alex is 2 years old.<html>

LOL. Bummer there is no 8 Pedal car. He will have
to do with his brothers Hand me down Z4. The Pedal M6 was discontinued because of mechanical issues (as expected).

??? what is it now ? selling the 860 ?
wow thats harsh. I think that car is a keeper... but don't want to give an advice or push anybody into anything.
I started a new business in 2001 and wanted to sell the 8 and the Z1. Wife told me NOT to do it. Then I had my daughter in 2003 wanted to sell them again... Wife said NO. As of today they are still with me, all 3 of them - 840 z1 and of course my wife too !
the whole family including my daughter loves the cars and planning to keep them. <a href="http://mydrive.roadfly.com/photos/pic.php?u=56726KDZYN&i=5166"><img src="http://mydrive.roadfly.com/photos/pic.php?u=56726KDZYN&i=5166" border="0"></a>

how is the montero ? I almost bought one
a month ago. brand new 2006 model with 2500miles, in NC. It was on ebay and they wanted something like 29,500 for it. I ended up with the mazda cx9. I love the style, the power and handling and the fact that it is a 7 passenger with room to spare yet feels very small when driving. the montero felt big and heavy but also very solid and seemed like an old school hard core suv. I was in between the 2 and the wife's preference of newer models pushed the mazda. She wanted the cayenne so I had to meet her wishes somewhere. The cayenne felt large and heavy yet light on its feet but heavy on the sticker price. a toureg is same truck for thousands less. the new ML was nice but again price was a big consideration compare to the cx9. The CX9 feels like a more expensive truck and misses only a few things that isn't important for me. I love it so far, only good things about driving and confort. It is thirsty though, you would think a 4wd sav with onyl 3.5l engine and 6spd auto will get more mileage but nope. 18-19mpg is all we can get from it in mixed cycle.

Really like the Montero. Not only it is old school
it is also very comfortable. I got the Limited version. I especially like the dash layout and the available luxury amenities. I drove Toyota Sequoia, Nissan Armada, MB GL, Chevy Trailblazer XLT and Ford Expedition and more. But this one won out in comfort, room (nice and wide but not too much), luxury, Gas mileage, style and price (Read Value).
It has DVD player, headrest monitors, Flush fold third row seat (disappears under the floor), Infinity sound system, 3 level 4 wheel drive (4H, 4L, 4LL-for really bad situation) in addition to normal rear wheel drive, Active Skid and Traction Control System (ASTC)similar to DSC, lighted steps on enter and exit, multi-zone HVAC, a really big sun/moon roof, body colored spare wheel cover, and the list goes on for a decent price. It is a V6 with less power but has more than plenty of room to put a S/C system available for the Mitsubishi 3000GT.
