can somebody help me to upload a video file ?
I can not find the way to do it. My dig camera does not support computer connection so I have to use the dvd it burns. I found several files but which one is the video file I need to save or upload ? I think it is a VOP file but Windows can not play that file. It looks like it is a combination of files ? how do I make that a computer friendly file ?
It is a SONY DVD based camera. DVD-205 model. 6months old only and seems like a bad design as I never thought that any newer camera specially DVD based, will NOT support computer connection. Specially not after they gave me a USB cable with it !
Thanks guys !

Laszlo. Try using a DVD Ripper software like
Magic DVD Ripper or a DVD to MPEG software to rip it and then host it with
Youtube.<html>

Also...
There is a freeware utility called "MPEG StreamClip" that lets you convert from various formats to various other formats.
Squared 5's website - makers of MPEG StreamClip (Freeware)
For some of the conversions you may need MPEG-2 support, meaning you will have to purchase it as an add-on to your Quicktime (available as just the MPEG-2 add on support for $19.99 or as the full upgrade to Quicktime Pro $29.99, both through the apple website)...
...OR...
...just download and install "Quicktime Alternative" which is also Freeware. Here's a link to one site that has it - there are several: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm

This is what I use to backup my music for my MP3
player.
CDEX
Also I like this software TagScanner to rename and organize my collection. This will let you change all fields of MP3 Properties (Artist, Album, Genre, etc.) and even let you put in your own name in comments field.<html>
