Re: pairing iPhone to '06 650
Sorry Andrew, don't have it. But everyone else with one is raving about how easy it is to pair with 6er. Might also check out the e60 folks - exact same electronics.

Re: pairing iPhone to '06 650
Andrew I was able to pair without any issue. Make sure you turn on Bluetooth in the settings section of the iPhone when your car is completely booted up. That means about one minute after you have started the engine or switched on radio mode. Go to the Bluetooth settings in iDrive. You will have to match the pass key in the phone and the car. The pass key is a number you input and more importantly a number you choose. I have forgotten whether the iPhone or the iDrive asks you to enter the number first. Just make sure the number is the same on both. Wait 30-60 seconds and they should be paired.

Re: pairing iPhone to '06 650
My iphone paired really easy with the 650. Must be under bluetooth menu in the the phone and it automatically finds the car. Then all you do is put in the password. Phone now pairs 80% of the time. For whatever reason sometimes it just wont pair or takes 5 minutes to. Not sure why. Must be a phone issue and will likely be fixed in the next patch. Address book loads entirely although slow to browse.

Re: pairing iPhone to '06 650
In the two+ weeks I've had the iPhone pairing is pretty good but not 100%. Since my Razr was almost flawless in pairing I am going to assume it is Apple's problem for not implementing a fully compliant Bluetooth device. I just hope when the iPhone firmware is updated from 1.0 there will be some functionality improvements.
