Help: Found E34 M5 for sale ... help a n00b.

So I found a very clean 1991 E34 M5 sale at a local used car dealer that specializes in the eclectic.

I have never previously been in search of such a vehicle, but the car is clean, beautiful and appears well cared for. The car was previously owned by an enthusiast.

It has 150k miles on the original motor and tranny. It is very well cared for and clear inside and out. The leather (grey) appears to be in great shape, as is the alcantara headliner. The paint is nice (black) but the car was resprayed after some sort of a fender bender.

It drives nice -- clutch is very abrupt and grabby (probably aftermarket). Fly wheel seems a bit heavy -- as the car does not really love to rev. But it seems to have nice power once you are passed 3k rpm or so.

The car has a set of Hamman wheels, nice tires, and Bilstein shocks and aftermarket springs of some sort. Steering is nice and seems precise. All the windows work -- as does the sunroof, A/C (a bit weak), and all the apparent electrics.

Dealer wants $15k (is asking $17,900 online). Seams reasonable.

So - what issues are there with a car like this? What are the weak points? Any good resources?

the sales man says. You have to have that attitude. Repainted, fender bender, there is a story there someplace.
